Whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer, StruProductions can make you look like a star! With top of the line video and editing service we will document your trip and edit your own surf film with music and titles and put it all on a DVD! StruProductions is based in San Diego, CA, and our staff videographers will fly down and back with your group.We film from water and land!! Stru Productions is the only surf film production company endorsed by Wavehunters Surf Travel and whose professionalism and quality of work and production is guaranteed.

Leave the camera at home!

 We will do it all for you! Just bring us along and we will do the rest. All of our staff is well knowledge videographers. We will Film, edit and publish you movie to DVD. We even take some regular pictures and make a slide show to put to the DVD.


GOT YOUR OWN SURF FOOTAGE ON TAPES?

Call us nad we will send you a FREE shipping box to send us you tapes. We will convert your mini DV tapes
to digital format and edit (each wave) your movie with Music and Titles then send it back to you on a DVD.

$250.00 per Mini Tape.(Great Holiday Gift!) Approx 2 weeks turnaround time.


Video Guy Onsite Packages:

The package includes 4 days of shooting, max. 2 x 3 hour sessions per day. Stru productions videographer will be onsite for the optimal period of forecasted swell during your trip and will shoot on the the 4 best days
Following the trip each group will receive a minimum 30 minute surf film, with a minimum of 3-5 minutes of edited film quality footage per surfer (assuming you catch enough waves- your responsibility!!). 

Within 4 weeks of the trip, everyone in your group will receive (One) DVD of your own production quality surf movie w/Jewel covers just like the real thing. Both during the trip and upon your return to California, you will be able to communicate with Stru productions throughout the editing process to customize your film with appropriate music, subtitles, etc…

Cameras: Professional Panasonic Digital DVX 10
Manfroto Tripod with Del Mar Underwater Housing for DVX 10
Editing done on G5 Mac with Final Cut Pro. 

Pricing: Min. 4pp/Max. 8pp.

4pp: $600.00 per person
5pp: $500.00 per person
6pp: $450.00 per person
7pp: $400.00 per person
8pp: $375.00 per person

Special Notes:

  • 1) Full payment is upfront to Wavehunters Surf Travel, Inc. and added to your trip invoice.
  • 2) There is no money back in the event surfers are unhappy with weather or swell conditions, or in the event they don’t catch any waves. (However the probability of these scenarios are low since the videographer is on location for 1 week at a high consistency surfing location to shoot the best 4 days).
  • 3) Package cost includes videographer’s airfare, transportation, food, shooting and editing costs.
  • 4) Videographer’s accommodation: Videogrpaher will sleep on extra bed in guests’ suite/couch in living area. Otherwise please add a $300 per group charge for separate accommodation for videographer.
  • 5) Groups of 9 or more are possible but will be billed as 2 separate groups with 2 separate videographers.
  • 6) Groups of less than 4 are possible. The minimum service cost is $2400.00.
